Ecce Romani wiki / ExperimentPage

This is a page to use to play with a few of the simpler features used to make a wiki page.
Click on Edit page above to open the page as a "document" in a "word processor."
Look at some of the tricks I've already used:

the * followed by a space to create a bulleted list
the double asterisks to indent even further
the | | lines around a word or phrase to create a box (a one by one table, really)
two asterisks on each side immediately surrounding any text I wish to appear in boldface.
the word <raw> in brackets to force special characters to appear as themselves, rather than as shortcuts to boldface, italics, underlining, etc.
NOTE: If you don't include the second bracket with the slash mark after the character, the feature will remain on for the entire page, which would be bad.
use <br> to start the text that follows on a new line.

Scroll back down to the word processor. PLEASE delete the stars for the next user.

A double underscore (__) should appear at each end of the sentence. Now click Preview to see what a visitor on the web would see.

Did you note that the three hyphens made a line all the way across the page?
